Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

About ‘The Arch of Wadi Rum’ by Roy Mosterd

In the vast desert of Wadi Rum in Jordan, a hiker walks across a natural rock arch that rises high above the sandy landscape. The warm reddish-brown hues of the rock contrast with the light sky and the soft tones of the desert in the background. The simple composition and open landscape create an image that feels both powerful and serene.
The natural rock arch forms a perfect line in the landscape. The hiker atop the arch highlights the scale of the rock and emphasises just how impressive these formations are. In the distance, the rocky plateaus slowly fade into the dusty desert light, reinforcing the sense of endless space.
Wadi Rum is renowned for its unique rock formations and vast open plains. During a journey through this area, this rock arch immediately stood out as a place where nature and adventure converge. The moment someone walked across the arch gave the scene exactly the right balance between man and landscape.
This photograph brings a sense of adventure, freedom and space into an interior. Thanks to the warm earth tones and minimalist composition, the work fits well in modern spaces where nature and travel take centre stage.

My biggest hobby is still playing outdoors. Even as a child, I used to write that in my classmates’ friendship books, and actually, not much has changed since then. It’s just that playing outdoors looks a bit different these days than it used to.
Whereas it used to be all about playing football in the park or tag in the school playground, I now prefer to spend as much time as possible in nature. In the mountains, along the coast or somewhere far away where the landscape…
