About ‘The Azure Sea’ by Steve Henderson

Just outside of the historic district of Polignano a Mare, Italy, there is a rocky outcrop of beach where people read, sun themselves, picnic, and take selfies.
It is the perfect spot to see the sea, which on many days is calm and crystalline under a clear blue sky. But on this day a tempest is brewing, and at the edge of the outcrop a young woman stands while the breeze blows playfully around her.
In the distance, the clouds billow and build, and at the horizon line one sees the rain begin to fall. Will it make its way here, drench us with a shower? Or will it stay out there in the distance, moody and broody, before deciding to break up?
Either way, there's no need to rush off -- watching a storm develop is exhilarating, and if we get a little wet, well, regardless of what our grandmothers insisted, we don't have to worry about getting a cold.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
