Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

Beta feature. You need an AR-capable device (a recent iPhone/iPad or Android). The AR view is only an indication; colour, size and finish may differ in reality.

About ‘The Golden Hour of Remembrance’ by Alberé de Ville

This expressive work of art captures a deeply atmospheric and narrative scene. Starting with a photograph, digital editing has produced a high-contrast composition in the style of film noir. In the foreground, deep, dark silhouettes – including the outlines of people and a delicate weeping willow – frame the view of a harbour in the background. At the heart of the image lies the luminous, textured sky in warm shades of gold, orange and ochre, which is reflected in the water and evokes the masts of distant ships. The coarse, almost crusty texture lends the digital work a palpable, almost tangible quality and a raw, artistic melancholy. A perfect statement piece for modern living rooms, lofts or spaces with an industrial or retro design, which thrive on art with a strong, narrative depth.

Whether through the lens, on canvas or on paper – I seek out the extraordinary in the detail and…
