This image is made to exude tranquility. The mild tones stand out immediately. The lines of the trees bring peace to your mind and the beautiful blues and purples of the wild hyacinths divide the image into a soothing line of 3.
The depth in this photo is phenomenal and ensures that even the details at the very depth remain nicely visible.
For this I used the HDR technique to bring out details in high lights or in the darker parts that contribute to the overall image. The early morning light is one of the most important factors in this cadrage, which gives me a very warm feeling. It ensures that the focus remains central.
The visit to the Haller forest had been on my list of places to photograph for years. So this is undoubtedly my best work of this piece of nature in its full glory.
