About the artwork

In the shadows of the impossible, we often find the unexpected. "The House of Escher" is a work of art where the boundaries of reality and imagination blur. Inspired by the inimitable M.C. Escher, I pay homage to his ability to challenge and confuse the viewer. A fusion of AI, 3D rendering and Photoshop, this work embodies the complexity and beauty of Escher's mathematical precision.

A story unfolds in this house of geometric shapes and muted colours. The portraits subtly incorporated into the architectural landscape seem both hidden and prominent. At the centre is a lady, her presence like an anchor point in this flowing sea of abstraction. Above right, we find a dancing couple on the stairs, their movement seems as timeless as the space they are in.

Each room, each corner, offers a new perspective, a new angle from which the viewer can consider the whole. The use of warm, somewhat muted colours gives the whole a nostalgic, almost dreamy atmosphere. It is a work of art that offers not only a visual experience, but also a mental journey through the complexity and beauty of Escher's vision.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
