It is the only Japanese Garden in the Netherlands from around 1910 and therefore has a high historical value. From 1954 the municipality manages the Clingendael estate.
Place for rest and reflection.
The garden has a very own and surprising atmosphere, partly caused by the beautiful moss layer. The garden contains many stone lanterns, with a large variety of shapes.
