About "The Kiss Gustav Klimt, Urban Collage, The Street Art Collage Collection"

About the artwork

The Kiss by Gustav Klimt. It is a well-known painting, perhaps as well known as the Mona Lisa. But this time the image is a little less clearly portrayed. However, the whole meaning of the image is included in this Urban Street Collage.

Is "The Kiss" an innocent picture? Or less modest? It is clear to the observant viewer that more is meant by this kiss than an innocent caress.

In this image, the kiss clearly leads to more. The text "With Love" and "Yes" indicate a sexually charged image, but one that requires you to take some time to see the parts. White lines reveal a drawing by Klimt, originally from 1911/1912. This shows a naked woman, lying down, with her breasts covered under a blanket, but her legs wide open. Over that is the text "With love.

For this artwork, the works of Gustav Klimt were used:

Zurückgelehnter weiblicher Halbakt, Studie zu "Die Jungfrau," inventory number 101455, made available by Wien Museum https://sammlung.wienmuseum.at/objekt/1484-zurueckgelehnter-weiblicher-halbakt/

and

Der Kuss Liebespaar, inventory number 912, made available by Museum Belvedere in Vienna. https://sammlung.belvedere.at/objects/6678/der-kuss-liebespaar?# Inv.-No. 912
