After the sun had set completely and the blue hour had dawned, a very attractive, cool light atmosphere arose with the dissipating clouds.
The lighthouse, whose lamp now shone its green light over the sea, now became more the main character, while the falling darkness took the other elements of the picture somewhat out of focus.
This image is also photographed as a long exposure, rendering the sea soft and silky. The pier itself, with its many recognisable details, is a counterpoint to the soft water and the resolved structures of the sky.
