About the artwork

The Mountain Collection | Clouds sail over the mountaintop as the last sunlight falls on the rocks from the other side.

I also took this photo during a winter hike in Slovenia. The clouds came and rolled over the mountain tops, while the sun scattered a last bit of sunlight over the rocks. The result is a kind of tension between clouds and sun. Between dark and light.

The slanting lines in mountains, the clouds rolling from left to right and the golden glow of the sun on the dots give this photo a playful feel. At the same time, the atmosphere is a little threatening: the weather turns and it gets darker. That duality gives a special quality to this photo.

The Slovenian Alps are less known that the Austrian or Swiss Alps. Yet they are at least as beautiful. Because Slovenia has very varied landscapes, it is a photographer's paradise.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
