Joseph Ducreux (1735 - 1802) was a French portrait and miniature painter. He is best known today for a number of expressive self-portraits, including this one from 1783, in which he can be seen yawning.
(Seeing yawning makes one yawn, I noticed when creating this artwork).
I created a 3D version of his painting using Photoshop. A so-called A trompe-l'œil (an image in fine art in which an optical illusion is deliberately created).
