Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘The Shadow behind Gilded Bark’ by Manuela Dekkers

The Shadow Behind Gilded Bark captures the moment when silence and power merge. A black jaguar - rare, mystical and unflappable - prowls out of the twilight of a weathered forest. Surrounded by bursting bark and gilded leaves, he moves like a shadow: poised, muscular and full of meaning.

This work is part of the Veinbound Creatures collection, in which symbolic animals and natural textures come together to create visually charged portraits. The deep blacks of the fur contrast with warm gold tones, arid leaves and weathered wood, creating a layered image of menace and serenity.

The black jaguar is more than a predator. He symbolises inner strength, intuition and the courage to enter the unknown. His presence in this artwork invites reflection, concentration and connection with your instincts.

This piece fits perfectly into interiors with a dark wabi-sabi, jungle luxury, moody elegance or natural minimalism look. Think deep colour palettes, tactile materials, raw textures and an atmosphere where silence is appreciated. Ideal for a stylish study, artistic hallway or intimate reading corner.

A visual whisper of the wild - for those who dare to look.
