Inspired by the large crowds of people who are forced to leave their homes to find a place elsewhere. A group of people stand talking, or waiting for what is to come. They are transparent, not yet fully present in their own bodies. The figures are constructed from packaging cardboard, that which we usually without thinking label as waste. The cardboard is lightly painted in soft grayish colors, like the clothes that necessarily continue to be worn because nothing else is available.
The elongated image exudes tranquility, a certain resignation, although chaos or animated initiative lurk.
The question remains, are we looking at waste or people here?
