About "The Venlo Imperial Street"

About the artwork

The Keizerstraat in Venlo, a street with history. Where Napoleon Bonaparte hoped through on horseback in 1804 and many years later it was the place you'd rather not walk through after sunset. Criminal people and other anti-social people were at the service there. Until that moment the so-called broom went through the street and transformed this little street from slum to a pearl. One of the reasons for this was the construction of a special café. On the left side of the picture is the former monastery of the Domenicans and on the right side the earlier mentioned café. Further on through tapas restaurant Bij de Buren and at the end café de Keizerin. On the fence in front of the café you can sit on the so called "Köpkes". These are half caricatures of Venlo expressions and faces. The Keizerstraat, how small the street is, the passage usually takes longer than planned....Proost!

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
