In the Tuscan hills near a small dreamy village lies an abandoned and dilapidated monastery. A narrow and steep path leads up and after some climbing and scrambling we are on the terrain. The buildings still date from the time when hourly wages were low, beautiful arches, vaults and shady galleries. Via a chapel we arrive at a few classrooms where the school desks are still almost lined up. The colors are warm and atmospheric, it looks like a time capsule. The view from the window over the hills is magical.
