I regularly visit the various fishing ports in the Netherlands and abroad. I like to photograph the details of the various fishing vessels. The ships have beautiful lines and are always something to see. In this case, the fading waterline, the fouling on the hull. And next to it the dark waters of the fishing port. On sunny days and on dark days, I can be found in the harbours a lot. The rawness of the fishing port the liveliness on the quays. Or on a quiet Sunday, I like to walk past the colourful ships.
