The Speulderbos is known as the most beautiful forest in the Netherlands thanks to a special phenomenon: dancing beech trees. For years, this stretch of forest was used for logging, with only the straight trees being felled for beautiful straight planks. The result: whole stretches of forest full of twisting 'dancing' trees. Especially in the early morning light, this gives a mystical atmosphere.
