The "dancing" hydrangea petal is a macro photo of a small petal of a hydrangea. This petal has already decayed so much that the petal is only very thin and you can clearly see the beautiful vein structure.
When taking this photo, I chose a shallow depth of field. the further back you look, the blurrier the leaf becomes. This (together with the lighting) creates depth in the work.
The leaf lies on a mirrored surface. As a result, you can see a reflection of the leaf on the surface.
The soft shades of brown (including beige and taupe) create a very calm atmosphere and, in my opinion, fit nicely into, for example, a rural living style. The work feels natural because of the colours and, of course, the subject and the texture of the veins.
This work could hang beautifully as wall decoration in the dining room, kitchen, bedroom or just above the sofa! (Of course also beautiful in business spaces such as on the wall in a meeting room, office, waiting room or practice room!)
