About ‘The fire dune’ by robert wierenga

Vlieland's lighthouse, officially called The Fire Dune, stands on the island's highest dune, the Firebowl Dune. Popularly, the beacon is also called "The Red Goblin". However, you don't see that red colour in this shot. This picture was taken on a very sunny day. I then converted the image to black and white with high contrast.
