"The lines of a shell" is a macro photo of the side of a borer mussel. This shell has a nice relief that is made even more obvious by the lighting. In the background there is also a borer mussel but due to the depth of field chosen in this photo, it is only vaguely present. The ground surface is of a reflective material containing a texture. This creates an abstract, picturesque and vague reflection of the back shell in the ground surface. If you zoom in on the work, you see that part of the front shell is razor-sharp and this sharpness decreases the further back you look. As a result, the front shell becomes "detached" from the back shell in terms of image.
This work could, for example, hang beautifully as a wall decoration in the bedroom, dining room, kitchen or simply above the sofa in the living room! Also beautiful in business locations such as on the wall in a meeting room, office waiting room or practice room!
