Here, two polders border each other, namely the Oud-Dubbeldamse polder (also known as the Oudeland van Dubbeldam) and the Noordpolder. Despite the name of the first polder, this piece did not belong to the Dubbeldam craft: it was located north of the Ree, in the seigniory of Merwede. As such, it had been territory of the city of Dordrecht since 1604. The Vissersdijk touched the Ree to the south and merged into the Krommedijk there.
