On the island of Elba, off the Tuscan coast, you can find a wide variety of stone types. This photo shows some of them as I found them on the beach on the south side of the island, near Capoliveri. The background in this photo is a detail of the black beach where I found the stones.

I have been involved in photography from an early age, and at the age of 20 I was allowed to exhibit my work for the first time. After many doubts, I ultimately did not make photography my profession, but I always continued to take photographs.
