I took this photo of a number of white peacocks on the Staverden estate in the municipality of Ermelo in the Veluwe. Staverden is known for the white peacocks, Staverden is also known as the white peacock castle. The white peacocks come from the time that the Duke of Gelre Castle owned Staverden. These white peacocks are not albinos because they have black eyes, they are bred from the time of the Dukes of Gelre. I have chosen to make this picture extra wide. As you can see from the flared feathers of the peacocks I took this picture in the spring.
