There is nothing subtle about this image. The bright red walls of this ravine reflect the image rock hard back into the still water.
In the background, you can see a rail running, which serves the hikers who negotiated the ravine at karijini national park to get down safely. This lake is therefore quite originally called 'handrail lake'. However, the simple name does not detract from the beauty of the area.
