Abandoned fire pit on the Issyk Kul Lake plateau with the snow-capped peaks of the Tiensyan Mountains in the background. This plateau is 1606 metres above sea level. The fire pit is of the few remnants that remain when the nomads move on to lower elevations before winter sets in. No noise from vehicles or industry.
There are no amenities like running water or electricity.
