Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.

Like a sentinel, it stands at the northeastern tip of Texel and has been fulfilling its duties as a beacon for shipping for over a hundred years. Its striking red color can be seen from afar and serves as an orientation point on the island.

Enige jaren geleden ben ik begonnen met het fotograferen van landschappen en heb hierna een "eigen stijl" weten te creëren. Deze stijl betreft een knipoog naar het pictorialisme, een stroming in de vroegere jaren van de fotografie. In de kunstwereld werd de fotografie als iets minachtends beschouwd omdat dit niet meer dan het reproduceren van de werkelijkheid was. Immers, de fotografie werd gezien als broodroof van die portretschilders die enorm veel concurrentie…
