This work shows a thirsty springbok ((Antidorcas marsupialis) who, at the end of a hot African day, is drinking from a small lake. Predators do not show up. The Springbok is totally at ease and has moved all the way into the shallow water, making it completely surrounded by water in the photo. The sun is setting and in the last light of the day, the water has turned a warm yellow colour. Everything is quiet and relaxed and the Springbok reflects beautifully in the water of the small lake.
