"Together we are one: Two yellow tulips" is a picture of two beautiful yellow tulips opening together. The two tulips sit firmly together and emerge from a bulb. I picked this tulip in a picking garden in North Holland (Netherlands).
The background of this photo is warm in colour, dark red / burgundy. This dark warm colour makes the yellow tulips stand out beautifully on the ground. If you zoom in on the photo, you can see that some of the tulip's yellow leaves have red edges and lines. This again comes out nicely with the red background! You can then also see, if you are zoomed in on the photo, how the depth of field is. The focus is on the front yellow petals and the further back you look, the fainter the flower and stem become. This gives a sense of depth to the photo. This work could hang beautifully as a wall decoration in the waiting room, bedroom, hallway or, of course, just above the sofa!
For me, this photo radiates warmth and simplicity. A simple still life of two flowers.
