A ticket isn't cheap, and you can't get a drink at your leisure, but the view from the roof of the Rockefeller Center is phenomenal.
Top of the Rock, or the top of the Rockefeller Center, is a viewpoint on the highest floors of the Rockefeller Center's tallest skyscraper, namely the Comcast Building, in the American city of New York.
Top of the Rock has the shape of a three-storey ship, the highest of which is 259 m above the city. The entrance on 50th Street between 5th and 6th Avenue and an elevator with a transparent roof takes visitors to the 68th floor. The Chrysler Building, Central Park, Times Square, One57, the Hudson River, the East River, Brooklyn Bridge and the Statue of Liberty can be seen. Because the visitor also has a view of the Empire State Building from here, Top of the Rock is generally considered the best vantage point in New York.
The 432 Park Avenue, a 426 m high residential skyscraper, which was completed at the end of December 2015, is also prominently present and was the city's second tallest building at the beginning of 2016. New York's iconic and tallest building, the One World Trade Center, 541 m high, can be seen to the south.
