Because the sun was shining very brightly on this beautiful tree, and actually straight into my lens, I got underexposure.
Normally, you can then try to still get some drawing in the photo by adjusting aperture or shutter speed but in this case I enhanced the contrast even more and was left with a graphic image.
At the top right, you can see the sun that provided this beautiful landscape. The abbey in the background gives a nice silhouette, it gives a nice composition and completes the image.
