A tribute to Bridget Riley (1931). She is an English painter who is seen as an important representative of optical art or op-art. Inspired by Victor Vasarely (1906-1977) she experimented with strongly contrasting colour fields in order to arouse a sensation of light and energy in her paintings. In 1968 she received the first prize for painting at the Venice Biennale, and in 2009 Riley won the Goslarer Kaiser Ring.
