About the artwork

Hand-painted watercolour painting depicting various green tropical leaves in a 'Vintage Look'. Inspired by the tropics, green rainforests, flora and fauna, the painting consists of multiple transparent layers in watercolour. This watercolour painting falls under realistic, illustrative and minimalist painting where the wet on dry watercolour technique has been used in highly transparent paint layers in different shades of green. In this work, you can see the transparency especially in the areas where the leaves overlap. This transparency creates a nice depth effect in the painting. The original painting is hand-painted on 300-gram 100% cotton handmade watercolour paper where the rough fibres of the paper are clearly visible. The texture of this handmade paper is quite rough, which gives the painting a nice 'Vintage Look'. This rough effect is therefore not a digital image processing, but purely the special effect of this handmade water colour paper. 'Tropical leaves' is a modern painting with a fresh look and extremely suitable as wall decoration on Canvas, HD Metal, Garden Canvas, or Xpozer. But also very suitable as a wall-filling Artprint on Seamless Wallpaper or on Art Frame in a bedroom, living room, hotel room, lobby or office space. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
