About the artwork

The circles and waves in the sky in van Gogh's paintings are an expression of his artistic vision and his emotional state. He often painted the starry sky, which he could observe from his window in the mental hospital in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. He was fascinated by astronomy and read magazines sent to him by his friend Camille Flammarion. He used various optical effects to reflect and amplify the light of the stars and the moon. The circles and waves in the sky reflect his admiration, but also his fear of infinity and the power of the cosmos. They also show his inner restlessness, his longing and his hope. The Starry Night is one of his most famous paintings that combines these elements. With the help of an AI, the author has tried to combine this special atmosphere of the "Starry Night" with another motif. The result is "Two White Cats in a Starry Night". A mysterious, sympathetic picture that lives from the typical "van Gogh sky", the "moonlight colours" and of course the humour spread by the two white cats.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
