The Van Brienenoord Bridge is situated over the river Nieuwe Maas near Rotterdam, The Netherlands. More than 250.000 vehicles cross this bridge every day. On this image you can clearly see the cars and trucks on their way to their destinations south of Rotterdam
A completely different way of commuting is travelling by ferry like the Waterbus that is clearly visible on this photograph. This ferry transports persons and their bikes from towns south of Rotterdam to the city of Rotterdam and vice versa.
The warm yellow light is coming from the rising sun that lights this typical Rotterdam scene in a beautiful way.
