The Vermillion lakes are three lakes just west of the town of Banff in the Canadian Rockies. Especially in the early morning or early evening the lakes are really beautiful. Most tourists are gone by then, the wind falls silent causing reflections on the lakes and the warm light falls nicely around the mountains behind the lakes…
