About ‘View from the Tower of Pisa’ by Rosenbrand Image Works

From the Leaning Tower of Pisa, a glimpse of the city can be seen. This photograph was taken in August 2002 on 35mm Perutz 200 colour negative film using a Lomo LC-A camera, known for its distinctive analogue look, soft contrasts and vibrant colours.

The shot shows a detail of the tower, but also captures the atmosphere of a summer trip through Italy in the early 2000s. The visible film edges and perforations are a deliberate part of the image and emphasise the original character of the negative. Grain, small imperfections and subtle light effects enhance the analogue feel and form a natural contrast to the sleek perfection of digital photography and AI-generated images.

The photograph has an almost documentary feel, as if it were an excerpt from a personal travel diary. It is precisely this combination of architecture, height, film grain and visible elements of the original negative that gives the image its own atmosphere and character. For lovers of analogue photography, travel and Italy, the work evokes a sense of recognition and nostalgia.

Thanks to its warm colours and open perspective, this piece fits well in a modern interior, a creative workspace or a room with a personal and adventurous feel.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
