About "View on Salerno Italy Harbour with Boats"

About the artwork

I didn’t plan to stop here long, but something about the stillness kept me standing there. The harbor felt almost too quiet for evening—no wind, barely a sound, just the gentle movement of water around the boats. I framed the shot vertically to emphasize the tall masts and their reflections, like drawn lines stretching toward both sky and sea. The color gradient was what really pulled me in. That soft orange near the horizon fading gently into pale gold, then finally into cool blue toward the top. There’s a faint red beacon in the distance, just enough contrast to anchor the far side of the frame. The silhouettes of the boats worked perfectly against the glow—no detail, just shape and form. It’s one of those scenes that doesn’t try too hard, but somehow everything lands just right. And I liked that none of the boats were moving. It added to that quiet feeling of a day ending, not dramatically, but gently. Like exhaling without realizing you’d been holding your breath.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
