I took this photo of the Vischpoort in Harderwijk, I was standing on the boulevard side of the gate. On this side of the gate, the Zuiderzee used to stand against it. It was a beautiful sunny day when I took this photo. Harderwijk's Vischpoort is characterised by the light house on the roof of the gate that used to allow fishermen to navigate the Zuiderzee. I chose to take this photo in 4:3 ratio, further I also chose to convert this photo in black and white so it looks just a bit older. When I took this photo it was the end of winter/beginning of spring, the small patch of tree you can see in this photo was still bare. If you look through the gate, you can still see bicycles on the Vischmarkt.
