About "Walking through time in Marrakech"

About the artwork

Slowly he takes his steps, leaning on his cane as if carrying time itself. The narrow alley around him is enveloped in a play of light and shadow, where the sun makes its way between the ancient walls. Every tile under his feet has already felt thousands of footsteps, every crack in the wall has heard stories lost in the echoes of the city.

Marrakech is changing, but some things remain the same. The rugs hanging in the souks, the electricity wires running through the city like veins, the smell of mint and spices hanging in the air. And he, a man who may have been walking the same path for decades, at a pace that only he determines.

His gaze is downcast, not out of haste, but out of concentration. Not just on the road he is travelling, but perhaps also on the memories passing in his mind. Is this a route he has always walked? Is there a destination behind this journey, or is it simply the routine of the day?

The atmosphere is hushed and timeless, a moment where past and present merge. This image brings a sense of transience and calm to a space, a reminder of the beauty of the slow, the unremarkable, the human.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
