Warm Evening Sky – Soft Pink and Yellow Colour Gradient | Pastel Gradient Art by Hilde Remerie – Digital Art, Bauhaus & Photography

‘Warm Evening Sky’ is a soft and dreamy abstract artwork in which pastel yellow, peach, soft orange and pink gradually blend into one another. On the left-hand side, the colour gradient begins with a light, warm shade of yellow and peach. Towards the centre, the colour becomes an increasingly soft pink, before giving way to a slightly more vibrant pink on the right-hand side.

The painting has a particularly serene feel, as there are no lines, shapes or recognisable objects. It is all about the subtle transition between the colours. The soft shades are reminiscent of the warm glow of an evening sky, when the last rays of sunlight colour the clouds pink and golden yellow. The work conveys that atmosphere without literally depicting a landscape or a sunset.

The combination of pastel yellow and pink gives ‘Warm Evening Sky’ a light, delicate feel. The peachy centre forms a natural link between the two colours and ensures the gradient remains soft and harmonious. As a result, the artwork feels warm and inviting, yet calm and refined at the same time.

This pastel colour gradient fits beautifully into a light and modern interior. It can provide a soft splash of colour in a living room, bedroom, nursery or quiet workspace. The shades of pink and yellow combine beautifully with white, cream, beige, light wood and other natural materials. It can also add a subtle, warm atmosphere to a romantic, Scandinavian or minimalist interior.

‘Warm Evening Sky’ is part of the Gradient collection. It is a simple yet atmospheric example of how a smooth transition of colour can evoke associations with a warm summer’s evening and a gentle evening sky.
