"Warm burgundy vertical Panorama: Zeeland Button (Astrantia Major) with reflection" is a photo I took of one of my favourite flowers, the Zeeland Button (Astrantia Major). This flower is beautiful to photograph, I think, because when you look up close it looks like the flower is made up of little flowers again. If you zoom in on the photo you can see this. When photographing, I chose to put the focus on the front "mini flowers" creating depth in the work. This also ensures that the background is almost even in colour. This brings even more peace to the work.
The cropping is different from what you might expect. I chose to work this picture into a vertical panorama, to let the emptiness run vertically. For me, this adds a lot of calm to the image.
Because the Zeeuws Knoopje lies on a mirrored surface, you can see a blurred version of the Zeeuws Knoopje in this plane, but upside down.
