About ‘Water source in lava cave Grjotagjá (Iceland)’ by Martijn Smeets
Grjótagjá is a small lava cave near Lake Mývatn in Iceland. The cave contains a thermal water source.
This used to be a popular bathing spot, but today the water is too hot to actually bathe in. And due to the success of the series Game of Thrones, which led many tourists to the cave, the cave is unfortunately closed to the public.
