Watercolour painting of Bellamy Park and St James' Church in the background. More than a century ago, this area was still the Old Harbour. It came into being around 1315 after the harbour had silted up before that. The harbour was of great importance to fishermen and later merchant ships joined them. They brought the city great prosperity, which stagnated after 1600.
