Boezemgemaal de Waterwolf is located in the hamlet of Lammerburen, just north of the Groningen village of Oldehove. This pumping station is one of the largest pumping stations in the Netherlands. The pumping station is also called Electra, the name of the water board under which it was built. The pumping station has a displacement capacity of 4500 cubic meters of water per minute through four large diesel pumps and two smaller electric pumps. In 2019, the pumping station celebrated its 100th anniversary. The building has national monument status. This photo was taken in the spring of 2022.
