The light of the setting Summer evening sun illuminates the sandy path that runs through the Everts forest. located between Anloo and Eext, in the province of Drenthe.
Forestry Anloo is located southeast of the village of Anloo in the Dutch province of Drenthe. The forestry has a size of about 160 ha. The forestry once belonged to the Terborgh estate, known locally as the Everts forest. The Everts family planted the first pine forest in 1914 and proceeded to small-scale clearing of the heathland. This reclamation continued until 1930. The forestry is now owned by the Forestry Commission. This photo was taken at the end of a warm Summer's day in June 2023.
