About the artwork
This unusual black and white artwork is mysterious and intriguing. It tickles your fancy and makes you think about what is shown here. Is it an ordinary abstract work of art you are looking at or is it part of a flower, for example? What your imagination tells you here is always good. That's the beauty of abstract, your imagination makes you look at an abstract artwork in a unique way.
This particular work of art has an ordinary photograph as its base. I regularly take photos of, for example, beautiful patterns, unusual structures, cheerful colours or striking shapes. I then use these photos to create beautiful works of art.
The photo I used here was an amalgamation of three photos. These photos were merged using my camera. The final photo was a geometric pattern of different triangles, where there was a nice gradient from black to white, with some shades of grey in between.
I digitally distorted this photo into a special pattern with beautiful wavy lines. Multiple copies of this digital artwork were then merged.
The end result is indeed mysterious and intriguing. An imaginative, abstract, modern and high-contrast artwork, done in black, white and shades of grey!
