About ‘Whale skeleton - Disko Island, Greenland’ by Martijn Smeets

On the coast of the Nordfjord of Disko Island in Greenland I found this almost intact skeleton of a whale. Given the fishing from a distant past, there is a good chance that the whale was skinned here, but it is also quite possible that the animal died a natural death here.
