About the artwork

Landgoed het Nijenhuis, adjacent to the Weldam estate, was first mentioned in 1380 and has a beautiful mix of ash landscapes, farms and? very beautiful beech forests. In autumn, these beech forests turn a truly fantastic colour, and especially when the first leaves have fallen and the morning sun peeks through the mist, a wonderful mystical atmosphere of dancing trees is created. The "White Wolves" live here; I am sure of it.

White hags (literally translated as ?white women?) are mythical creatures. It is the name for female figures that appear in legends and are sometimes benign, sometimes evil. Fog patches or fog banks are called ?White wives' in Twente and the Achterhoek.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
