In the border area of the Netherlands and Germany near Isselburg municipality are these wind turbines. You can recognise that they are German wind turbines by the red stripes on the rotor blades. This image was taken from my opened car window. I was on my way when I noticed how the sky suddenly took on a threatening character. Swiftly I went down the motorway in search of a suitable place to capture this sky. But I did not immediately find a location with a good foreground. After driving around in an agricultural area for a while, I saw this image. The light just fell nicely on the front wind turbine. I realised that this image could be gone in an instant and that I didn't have time to unfold the tripod. I opened the window and supported the camera on the door and pressed on. Only later did I see how many more wind turbines could be seen. The colour of the crop almost complemented the colour of the sky.
From my exhibition in Amsterdam (Orange Church until November 26, 2023), I decided to open this shop after all the extremely enthusiastic responses.
With me you will find landscape photography inspired by both nature and architecture. I sometimes also use an infrared camera. I am completely self-taught..
