About the artwork

In this work, a woman in a bright red dress takes centre stage, rendered sharp and clear as the city around her fades into motion. Her blonde hair seems frozen in the wind, a still moment in the midst of a hectic metropolis. The dark shadows of passers-by contrast sharply with her presence, making her as the protagonist immediately command all attention. The iconic yellow taxi reveals the setting: a New York street, where the mundane meets the cinematic.

This work is inspired by that one moment during a busy commute when you suddenly catch a glimpse of something beautiful - as if time stands still for a moment while the rest of the world races by. A fleeting dream, captured in a split second. For me personally, this felt like an image both powerful and melancholic: the contrast between impermanence and beauty.

Using my signature red as a guide, I deliberately chose sharp lines in the protagonist against the motion blur of the city. It gives this work a layered, almost cinematic character. A contemporary work of art that adds warmth, power and dynamism to any interior, and is perfectly at home in a modern or urban setting.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
