About the artwork

This colourful watercolour world map is hand-painted and features subtle and bright colours that have a clear connection to the nature and climate of the country and continent in question.

Click on the world map for a close-up and see the beautiful details of this impressionist painting.

South America consists of (dark) green and yellow tones, South Africa of (dark) green and yellow tones and North Africa of yellow and orange tones for the desert areas. Canada and Greenland have fresh blue tones and Australia green, orange and red earthy colours. North America, Asia, Europe, Scandinavia and Oceania (near New Zealand and Fiji) have a mix of warm and cold colours.

The original painting was made with watercolours and ecoline on 300g watercolour paper and measures 160x90cm.

The work has been photographed in high resolution with beautiful details. This artwork is therefore also available in very large wall-filling formats.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
